Go the DIY route with your vehicle's new accessories, or bring it to your mechanic — either way, save money over going to the dealership with Amazon's new store.

Buying new parts for your car just got a little easier. Earlier this week, Amazon launched its new original equipment manufacturer store (or OEM), allowing home mechanics, car enthusiasts, or those who just need a replacement part quickly and affordably to have greater access to the auto products they need.

Amazon's new OEM store offers products from 25 car brands spanning categories like engine parts, tires, RV and motorcycle parts, replacement parts, enthusiast merch, lockout kits, and so much more. Plus, with Amazon Confirmed Fit, which asks for your vehicle's make, model, year, and type, you can ensure that the parts you’re perusing match up with your car, motorcycle, or ATV.

This launch comes on the heels of eBay's motors division introducing its Guaranteed Fit service earlier this month. Much like Amazon Confirmed Fit, eBay's Guaranteed Fit asks for your vehicle information to filter in products that work for your particular car. It's been suggested by multiple outlets that Amazon's new OEM store is intended to compete with eBay's auto business.

Either way, Amazon's OEM store allows you to shop from brands like GM, Ford, Chrysler, Jeep, Volvo, Toyota, and more to pick exactly the part you need for your car. This is especially great if you prefer to work on your vehicles yourself (or are restoring one in your garage), but you can also purchase these parts to bring to your mechanic for installation.

Every car, motorcycle, and RV is different, of course, so we won't recommend vehicle-specific products. So if you already know what your vehicle needs, Amazon can help match you to them more seamlessly with this latest offering. In addition, the store also carries accessories for your car, as well as items to help make your vehicle run more smoothly, look nicer, and give you a boost in an emergency. Named one of the best portable jump starters for its water resistance, the Noco Boost Plus is great to pack in your car for emergencies. It has an LED flashlight, gets as much as 20 uses out of a charge, is lightweight, and can also serve as a power bank when needed.

This is a handy tool for understanding why your check engine light flipped on. We like this one in particular because it actually tells you in plain terms what the problem is, instead of just giving you an indecipherable code. Plus, it's on sale right now.

Give your vehicle a professional paint job with this 3M kit. It has 4.7 stars on Amazon, with reviewers loving this kit for how easy it is to clean and use. Besides the spray gun, it comes with a spray cup, five disposable lids and liners for the cup, 15 atomizing heads in three different sizes, a mixing cup, a locking collar, and three sealing plugs.
